The RF capability of any model Pronto NG is only there to operate the optional RF Extender. You IR signal is transmitte dusing RF to the Extender, which then converts it back to IR to operate your equipment.

It is theoretically possible to directly operate RF equipment but only if it uses the same carrier frequency as the 7500 (which is unlikely), and you fnd a way of getting the codes.
