I got the epoxy last yesterday and used it this afternoon.
The epoxy worked. The soldering required is not for the
faint of heart though. I had to be VERY precise to get
the 4 hookup wires attached to the back of the screen
where the ribbon cable used to be. The epoxy part was
pretty straight forward.
Did you put wire in the place of the ribon? Did you not used the Ribon? How did you get the ribon out? You just pulled it off?
The problem is that the epoxy cost the same of the touchscreen.
