I'm not sure what you mean about the tools and the learning.

As for programming the channel macros....you would simply click "create link..." then select the device which controls your TV (cable box or satellite)....then go to the page of that device which contains the number buttons....then select '1'. Then add a short delay (about .1 sec is usually fine). Then do the same thing and choose '0'.....then add another delay....then repeat the steps above and choose '1'. Then your button should automatically change the channel to 101. If you are only doing a one or two digit channel number you would simply make the 'enter' button the last step of your macro.
