The formats and codes associated with icf files are essentially identical to those associated with pcf and ccf files. Because a lot more small Prontos are sold than iProntos, the regular Pronto forums and files sections on Remote Central are a rich resource for iPronto users for graphics, macros and IR codes.
The codes that you can copy from other people's files are often superior to learned codes, because they may have been optimized by an expert. For example, I learned all of the codes for a DirecTV HR10-250 and found that they were sometimes unreliable. The I copied them off someone else's pcf file and they are now 100% reliable! I don't know enough to explain why, but there you have it.
