Well, after 14 hours I FINALLY got my NEO programmed. Went trough several trials and errors, lost programming codes, lost links, etc.....

There are bugs in the edit program. Most frustating was the lack of the program to save links from my hard buttons. Ran across one problem where hard buttons worked for a while with IR codes defined to them, but after one download, they just quick working. NO idea why.

What I found seems to work the best is to use the Edit program to design your screens. Use only the BASIC IR codes for simple buttons (Play, pause, etc...) and use LEARNED IR codes for ALL hard buttons and advanced IR codes.

So in a nutshell, after all this experimenting what worked best for me is:

1. Design your screens in edit program.
2. Allocate only BASIC IR codes to soft buttons. (DO NOT use IR codes or links on your hard buttons)
3. Download to NEO
4. LEARN all Hard buttons and advanced soft buttons.
5. Upload back to Edit program for backup purposes.

Now that it is all said and done, all my prelim testing seems to be OK. Will use the NEO over the weekend in regular useage and see if I uncover any bugs.

If all is well I will upload my NEO NCF file for ya'lls benefit first part of next week.

Cheers and good luck
