This is out of the Readme file of the lastest NEoEdit Software
PR 163: Macro's recorded on the device are not uploaded. A workaround is to edit
macro's in NEOedit and then download. These macro's will be correctly
uploaded.
Not sure if that is your problem or not, but all the macros I've ever made I used the Software, as I did nothing really on the remote itself. So I would try that.
If all the IR codes work that are in your macro, you should have a problem.
