allamand - thanks for the reponse! I think I've got it figured out in neosynch, however when I move it to the top and select 'save as' and rename it - it appears to save ok. I then attempt to open it up via neoedit and realize it's not there. Neosynch is saving it as a file which is unrecognizeable by neoedit (has the windows logo icon next to it), therefore I can't get neoedit to recognize and open it. Do I need to save it as an .ncf file? It doesn't give me that option when selecting 'save as' in neosynch...just all files (*.*)??? I'm sure this is stupid but it has been driving me crazy for about 2 hours now. thanks agaain!!!

Also, what did you mean by making any new changes will cause neoedit to recreate a new overview screen? Does that mean I should do this step last - right before I DL it to the remote? What happens if I upload it back to neoedit after I have learned the ir codes to those buttons in the newly created overview screen?
