I was able to repair mine using a circuit trace pencil !! You can get these at electronics or computer stores. I got mine at Microcenter.

Three of the ribbons were cracked so I used the pencil to bridge the circuit. Let dry overnight, re-assembled and it's been working fine now for over a month.
