I purchased the Pronto Neo because I lost my original remote to a Philips DFR160017S01. I thought if I purchased a universal remote from the same company as my amp I would be safe. I could not get the remote to work. I called Philips and they said they recognized the unit as their product but they had no information on the DFR1600. They said I would be better off throwing my dvd player away. Philips Tech support is not very helpful. Does anyone know where I can get a ncf file for controling a Philips DFR 1600 DVD surround device? At the least I would like to be able to turn the device on and off.
