Good question, and I have a comment and an answer:

Comment: Any hardware and/or software company can go under at any time, and many have. While you may feel safer buying something from Microsoft than you would from EasyZapper, I remind you of the PC-Phone that Microsoft started selling a few years ago that has completely vanished and is not supported. This thing cost $300 Cdn.

Answer: EasyZapper executives have previously stated (and I have edited this section since I posted this message for accuracy) that they would try to make some arrangement to allow customers to continue to configure their Harmony Remotes (perhaps open sourcing the code, etc, etc).

To have TV listings continue, someone would have to pay for them, perhaps on a subscription model. "Whatever the arrangements are, we will try not to have the customers left hanging."
On another note, with the award the remote took at the recent CES, and the tons of orders they are getting, I wouldn't worry too much. ... Mike
