Great! I have OS X 10.1.3 and never thought to mention that fact. Sorry. I also had trouble with verifying. I found that I simply had to try and try again until it verified correctly. It usually took me 3-5 attempts. Not fun, but now that I have my Harmony configured the way I want, it doesn't matter. I don't download daily TV listings -- I prefer to simply look at the TIVO online TV guide. If I had to dl the listing every day, I would get really frustrated.
