I renamed my Watch Television activity to Watch TV last night, and discovered that the Power button no longer turned on my TV and receiver like it used to. No amount of automatic setup would change the XML. I had to edit the XML for the activity Shortcut and change the SetCurrentMode line to reflect the new name change. I hope this helps someone else out there.
