Hello, I know, this has been asked around here a hundred times. However, I searched and read through a hundred posts but didn't find an answer.. Maybe some kind sould can help me with this... I am trying to use Harmony 659 (doesn't matter which one really) to control my home made HTPC (which means I do not have an original remote) via Girder 4 and UIRT. I tried _many_ different devices from harmony's database as a template for the PC remote (sony, panasonic, jvc, ahanix media pc, etc) - all of them give me more or less the same problem (which was discussed on this forum several times) they either - repeat same code many times (even if the repeat number is set to zero in that obscure troubleshoot setting) or - have more than one code assigned to a single button ("RC5" devices?)
This really drives me mad since all other devices don't do this (if I watch Girder log while pressing buttons on the harmony assigned for my dvd player, I don't see any repeats) - I guess it's because those devices/activities were preconfigured by Logitech.. In contrast, my PC activity was set up manually..
Anyway, I am sure there should be a few people around here controlling their PC's with Harmonies through girder - could you please help me with this?
