I checked your Mitsubishi LT-46231 TV device and its "Adjust Input" method defaults to the direct method (I go directly to the input I want). The dataset for it has many discrete input commands. You need to try them all in device mode (on the LCD buttons), selecting each at least twice, and also note their behaviour (cycling or direct action). If most of them are discrete commands, then the default direct method is the way to go. In the device "Adjust Input", you can name the input LABELS to whatever you want. Just make sure you select the correct command(s) from the drop-down list for each of them. Note: With the direct method, the input order is not important. Then you need to make sure that in each activity, you selected the correct input LABEL name. Also don't confuse label names with command names. The device input setup is asking for both a label name and its associated command(s). The activity input setup is asking for the label name (not the command name).
