I don't think that code is in the remote. You may need to get the code off this website and program it into the 3000. That may prove to be difficult due to the fact that you need a computer hook-up type remtoe (pronto, marantz, etc). Sony has a "Master off" command that no matter what the device is (TV, VCR, amp, DVD, etc)...it will turn it off. More than likely, that is the command in the 3000 that is turning off your amp. If you can't get your hands on the code I mentioned above, you may want to think about a backwards approach...make your macro turn everything off, then turn on the items you want to keep on...
