I have setup a keyboard on my Pronto that allows me to type in Search term in the Replay TV find screen. These are discrete codes for the letters and numbers. I based it on Andy Clements Dish ccf and info from an anonymous QUERTY keyboard post in the replay tv section. I used a FITALY keyboard layout to get all of the letters on one screen. It's crude, but I like it.
The Problem:
All of the letters work perfectly, and all of the numbers work but the number "8" key. The code is a short string:
This seems much shorter than the other codes. I wonder if it was truncated somehow. I know that you can use a WebTV or Dishplayer IR keyboard with the Replay tv. If anyone has one of the two could you use your pronto to learn the "8" code and post it for me. This is a really cool capability for the Pronto and a big enhancement for replay tv usability. I will post my ccf if people want me to, but it is crude looking and I want to fix the "8" key first.
