there are no discrete power codes? Why would
they have discrete codes for HD and SD but not
for power?
Where'd you find the discrete HD/SD codes?
I stumbled upon them myself while I was out in the field several weeks ago and tried to submit them here-- they never got posted as far as I could tell.
One important thing that I left out was that the "Action" command must be issued to the sat receiver first.
I found the commands by learning them into a Pronto from the original remote --- I believe the one that defaults to SD requires a short button press while learning, and the the code that defaults to HD requires holding the HD/SD button down during the learning process.
Anyways, those codes seem to work 100% every time --- quite a pleasant surprise!
