80 dollars first hour, 50 dollars each additional hour. Thanks for the tip about charging more if the customer helps. If I do that, I could probably retire early!!! I suggest telling your friend your rates and giving an estimate based on the time it would take for an experienced tech to do the job. If it takes longer, just stick to your quote and use it as a learning or training experience.
