Odd on the Menu, Menu thing. Works on every Mits I have sold for the past 5 years.
Workaround: QP, QP, Power = POWER ON.
TV/VTR... Don't know of discretes, but how about a mini-macro workaround...
VTR: Play, stop. (tape must be loaded in machine.)
TV: QP, QP, Power. (resets vcr to "TV" pass through with power off, then turns it on.
You've got to out-think these units that don't have thought put into their design!
