I have a Harmon Kardon PA 4000 amp. Under normal circumstances I would have had cat 5 wire run to an on/off/volume wall switch in each of 4 locations. Unfortunately I didn't have the amp when the house wiring was going in. To retrofit the house is out of the question. So my question is this - is there any way I can setup this amp to turn on the various channels, raise and lower the volume etc via remote. The best I can come up with is hard wiring four of the standard HK wall volume controls to a panel near the amp and then coming up with some type of remote that will control each of the four channel's functionality.
So my questions are:
1. Is there a remote out there that will learn the HK keypad commands?
2. Is there a remote out there that will allow me to do this times 4?
3. Is there an easier way? And if so hints would be appreciated.
