Not that the colorfacts is a bad product, but the colorfacts is not the same as the CP5000. They use a cheaper sensor (one made for Pantone calibrations).

If you're looking at the information on their wesite you will find some inconsistancies on information on the colorfacts sensors (check the replacment parts spec versus the original ship sensor), the last time I checked they didn't add up. As with most technologies I can bias a discussion in any direction. Buyer beware, you get what you pay for in life and yes I do own the CP5000 and yes it's not the cheapest, but it is cheaper than a Minolta.

They've fixed the VP300 with a new software load several months ago.

All in all Sencore makes good products and provides good support. Also, they actively support and promote ISF.
