1) It probably does use memory. Test it by trying to re-assign every button on every device (just for fun). If it eventually won't let you any more then you've proved it. I ran out of memory on mine but I'd used several macros and learned keys which I'm SURE use memory.
2)I've noticed the JP1 port too, but have gotten no response from one4all about it. I cannot find anything on the web about it either.
3)I've already got too many remote, including a Pronto, cinema6, cinema7 and a very old Gemini learning remote that amazingly still works.
