The extended code table for my Sony receiver (type 0158) has the following cryptic section:

What is this section for? It looks like somehow the codes could be used to access the DSP, etc. but I'll be damned if I can figure out how. I can't figure out how to select sound fields on my Sony 925 from the Cinema 6 remote and this may be the key. (And maybe not)
