I have both for the moment, and I am probably going to keep the URC7800 for one reason: The volume punch through feature to the Receiver. On the 15-1994 this feature doesn't work to the receiver. I've tried fooling it by first remapping, then using advanced codes, and finally learning the receiver volume keys to the TV device, then using the 993 punch through to the TV device. Didn't work though. Without this feature I've maxed out both areas of memory reprogramming the volume keys in every device I use. With the URC7800, I still have ten learning keys and 9 advanced keys left over for other equipment (a second vcr and a dish system next year). If anybody has a solution to this please post a solution. I'd keep the 15-1994 then.
