The 2142 only takes 5 digit advanced codes, so
you need to add two zeroes to the FRONT of any
3 digit advanced codes you may find.

I think that is correct within the context of this thread. But in case people reading this read too much into that statement:

I believe some setup codes require 5 digit advanced codes that are not constructed by adding two zeroes to the FRONT of a 3 digit advanced code. They are constructed by a much more complex process that has been discussed in the JP1 forum.

Most setup codes requiring the more complex 5 digit advanced codes would not have any 3 digit advanced codes posted anywhere for older model OFA remotes. So setup codes that do have 3 digit advanced codes posted and don't follow the "prepend two zeroes" rule, should be quite rare. But I think there are a few.

I'm pretty sure 0820 is NOT one of the rare setup codes in which that simple rule fails. It is an ordinary setup codes for which the simple rule should work. My data on 1075 in the 15-2142 isn't quite as clear, but for that one I'll assume Edmund knows what he is talking about.
