I have a Samsung DVD-V4600 dvd/vcr combo player, and the RS 15-2142 Family 4in1 remote.

The two DVD setup codes that the player seems to respond to are 0820 and 1075. Unfortunately, the player plays all widescreen movies stretched to fullscreen, and the only way to change it (according to samsungs manual) is through the dvd player's setup menu. The problem is, the radio shack remote control does not have a setup menu button, I've tried pressing them all. I have also tried pressing the P button and then 6 8 3 (I followed these 2 guides: [Link: hifi-remote.com] and [Link: hifi-remote.com] ) as a discrete or advanced code and nothing...

The player does not respond to this 'manual' code input, am I doing it wrong?

Bottom line is, is there any way to get into the DVD player's setup menu using this remote?
