I am very interested in this fix. I install home theaters on a regular basis and out of 100 remotes, 1 will have the exact same problem as described in this thread where on "TV" mode the pressing of "Video Source" jumps back to "CBL" and activates the "Video Source" causing the cable box to go into Bypass mode.

How did you come up with the code for the TV/0156 as 0 0 0 5 8.
For example I have had the problem twice with a Samsung which is code 0812.

The math or reasoning as to how to fix this issue would be much appreciated.
