Wondering who knows what about this new generation of DVD units with the DVI output. Seems I have found 3 units on the market, have checked out the Samsung (DVD-HD931) and was not impressed.

Has anyone seen or tested the Bravo V1 or the new Denon (DVD-5900).

The Samsung sells for about $300 in town. The Bravo is $200 online.

As for the Denon, well break the piggy bank out, Cruthcfield will be selling it for $2000.

Is 720P that important? Is the native digital interface these units provide that much better than component?

Seems like I need to find a V1 ---

btw- there is a 4 week lead time on ordering the V1 form the V website.
