Ok..i have a Sony HT-1700 which is a DVD player and reciever and stuff. i have the sony dvd player hooked to the reciever via digital coaxial from player to reciever and then component from player to Sony TV. Thus I have to switch TV to input 4 (DVD) and turn reciever to DVD/LD option.
Now, I want to hook up another Philips DVD player to the reciever. The reciever's DVD/LD vid in and aud in composite are free on any hook ups. Can I simply hook up the 2nd player to the reciever's connection here and still use the DVD/LD option? But then I think what will the TV input be on, there will be no connection from the 2nd player to the TV will there? This is so confusing. Can anyone help?? I would so appreciate. Thanks in advance.
