All very well but it states on the PDAwin site that PDAWin supports the 54 series of IPAQs. Also, a few people in this very forum have recommended it.

I actually think I read your thread when I was trying to find a solution to the problem and, as you say, knowone seems to know the answer. It's very frustrating, though. After all, PDAWin is not freeware. It should work with the hardware it claims to support.

Anyway, I'm going to persevere for a while and see if I can find a solution. I might even email PDAWin, but I'm not going to hold my breath for a reply as I understand they are mute.

And in the meantime, if anyone does find out what is going on I will be grateful if you could report your findings. I will do the same should I get any joy.
