The IR hex codes as used in the Pronto / Pronto pro etc ARE the same as used by the TV Remote software by PDAWin. The ccf files for a RU970/TS6000 can be uploaded into a machine running PDA Win TV Remote and they will work. With a few exceptions all codes should work, as long as they do not have a repeat (second) burst pair sequence.

If any of your IR codes do have a second burst pair sequence, then they may or may not work.

If you have not yet read the articles describing the pronto hex learned code protocols, now would be a very good time to do so. Go back to the files section, Pronto / Pronto Pro area, Programs/Utils and Docs section, User documentation, and read Barry Gordons IR Dispaly format document. Here is the link:

That will explain how the codes work, and give you some idea of how to decode at any codes you do manage to get to do ANYTHING on your device. From there download the relevant utilities from the files section and try a nd creat your own codes with Make Hex, Pronto Utils etc etc.

A lot of work but it can be done.

Even try close results, IE from same manufacturer, but different product number etc. If you can find one or two codes that do something/anything on your device, chances are you will be able to discover, the protocol type and device number, From there create all the codes for that device, create a ccf , with all the codes, numbered 1-255 or what ever and try them out on the device. As Always the standard warning goes out with this that you MAY discover and send factory re-set codes to the device, and end up in a situation you can not get back out from. I have not experienced this personally, but have sen this given as a warning many times when dealing with TVs
