Not sure how you handle the first issue, I reacalla asimilar problem with Total remote not handling multipage devices as you might expect (for a Pronto emulator!!!!)

On the IR extender, I had a dialogue with Ben a while back, and the view was that they would not support the Electric Dog/Laser and Ultramote(?) extenders as they were essentially non CF standard, even though they use the CF slot. I'm not sure if that has changed on not, but I've failed to get the extender to work with NetRemote so far. That may be a hardware issue (Dell x50v). I've also spoken to WinCESoft who say that their Remote Control2 software supports the extenders, but what they did not addwas that they are only supported on certain PDA, unfortunately excluding the x50v. The argument they use is that the more recenet PDAs often have sufficeient IR capability, and therefore you shouldn't need the extender.
