Well, I finally put up the IRF-6 unit.
First off, I want to thank Dave at RTI for all of the help. I think he went above and beyond the call of duty and I greatly appreciate it.
Anyway, the IRF-6 is VERY easy to install. I don't have a lot of complicted macros because I am not that advanced yet, but the ones I have to play the various CD's in my 300 cd player work great. I did notice it is VERY particular about it's range. For example, it will not transmit through a tile floor but if I go farther away off of the floor it works fine. I am sure there will be "dead spots" in the house and once those are located it will work great. I have it located tucked up against my unfinished ceiling in my basement and the tile I am talking about is in my master bath ( I have speakers in there) But it works fine in the upstairs bedroom and out in the deck (two places I NEEDED it to work) so I am happy.
That's all.
Thanks again Dave.
Regards,
Will
