I concur with the above comments. The Pronto is great, but it will cost you a lot of time to program and tweak. And to answer your last question: no, you can not get any use out of the T2 without a computer. All its programming is done via the Windows based TheaterTouch Designer software (which is very user friendly and pretty much VOID of bugs).
