Got around to installing the IRF-6 this weekend. Bought a coax cable with BNC plugs at RadioSchack, so I could extend the antenna cable to reach a nice hidden spot (between wall and little side-table) in my living room. I am getting about a 40ft radius of reception. Given the mid-way location of my antenna, that covers the entire main floor, as well as my outside deck.

Very nice not to have to worry about keeping the remote pointed at equipment until a macro is done. I am quite happy with this RF option.
