I hope I'm not breaking any taboos but I would like to know if the folks, here, have any advice about DVD outlets, but I'm half-afraid to ask!

I have seen thread authors "scolded" for merchandising and self promotion. The word "DUB" seems to be a real no-no with the regulars. And my own thread regarding my DVD recorder/player seemed to have gotten the "cold shoulder." I assure you, I am not a video-pirate. I record TV shows much the same as I always have with my VCR. I admit to recording a movie off cable tv for my own use. Is that against the law? I am serious. I really don't know.

I visited one site that I saw mentioned on the "How many do YOU have" thread, and they seem to be selling late releases for almost $10 cheaper than I see them in stores for. Is this a scam, or do any of the readers, here, buy from these sites?

If many of you have had good experiences with them, I will go and buy 5 and get 2 free (if there are no catches)
