Ah. You said pcf. Not ccf. That's a great shorthand version of an IR code, but I think it shouldn't properly be called Pronto Hex, even though it's hex you got out of a Pronto. But only from the New Generation and newer product than that, if I remember correctly. Codes in ccfs will work.
I first saw these short codes when I pasted some long codes into the first TSU3000 I did. I closed the window, opened it again, and they had been stored as the short versions. Many of them didn't work, but that was very early in the NG saga.
I've always had a TS1000 for learning codes, and those codes work with RTI. In fact, the RTI IR PRO and the Pronto TS1000 are the two learning devices that always work. Get a TS1000 on ebay. You'll like it.
