I have successfully convertered the remote for my Sony sat rcvr to RF and IR twice now only to find out later that it has failed (again). I don't use the feature often to detect the exact failure, just occasionally decide to watch sat in the bedroom and can't send a signal. Is it possible that I lose it as a result of my continuous (to "upgrade") depowering of the system?
