Hey BobS,

I use a system from channel plus that injects ir over coax that works very well, (they also make sone awesome digital modulators. Basically you need there 8 way splitter with 10db amp and ir engine (model 8200), the input plate with emitters,(model 2010), and then you put the targets(model 2133) at each of the remote tv locations.

You can control up to 4 devices from this system to up to eight tv's, and as long as your coax runs are clean, as in no splitters, it is simple to install.
