I also gave up on the Mits DSS and bought a RCA DTC-100. Remember the Mits DSS is built on the same Hughes platform as the DTC-100. I suspect the only thing the Mits offers is better compatability; e.g. horizonal positioning. Still, I have found you can fix the Mits compatability issues with the DTC-100 by reading this forum. The forum draws some very knowledgable folks.
