I believe the RCA DTC-100 is the only DirecTV and HDTV combo out there. Neither Pioneer nor Panasonic have released such a unit yet. If you buy the RCA, you may need service codes for your TV in order to adjust the horizonal position of the picture, or you may get lucky and only need the service menu for the DTC-100 (call RCA). If you have component inputs then you will need a VGA to Component converter - buy the audio authority unit for $139. It works and is relatively cheap. Make sure you understand the return policy of the companies from whom you buy your equipment. If things do not work out, you want to easily return the units.
