This thread made me chuckle.... When I set up my room I was thinking Caddie she had Hundie in her mind for spending.... So I ran a home run from the cellar to a new double socket with twenty gut wrenching amps ready to do battle for me. I bought a rack mountable high watt unconditional power supply and plugged everything through it. Here in Ct frequent outages keep most people in the dvd dark. But not me. I replaced the small built in lead batterys with a set of six Exide 480 amp gel cells. I can watch tv at full surrond studio volumes for days... The power cords that came with the gear don't seem to mind a bit either, they work just fine..........
