Please help, I'm new to all of this stuff. We just bought a 52" Projection RCA TV that came with Universal Gemstar Remote. We have Pioneer Surrond Sound DVD/JC Penny VCR and Dish Network Sat. Dish(its older dish that has the Echostar Receiver. We can get the TV Remote to turn on the TV/SAT Dish/VCR/DVD Player. It won't turn on the Surround Sound or let us change channels in the PIP Window or show the SAT channels on the Guide Plus menu. How can we get it to perform these other functions? Its a real pain to have to keep trying to use 4 different remotes. Basically all we can use it for at this point is to turn things off and on it doesn't work on anything else.
