I see Voom Sr won the battle against NYC putting in that new Sports Complex or whatever it was called to host the Olympics and which would have been direct competition for the NYC sports complex he owns I think he owns the Garden. But lost the War over Voom to his son.
I guess I would not recommend someone buying a Voom Box presently as the seller may or may not know if it has been deactivated although a $50.00 going price for a Voom box is a inexpensive gamble.
BTW - I am not impressed with the Pioneer Guide as part of my PDP-4340HD Plasma. It takes for ever to create the guide and it even adds channels you have deleted from your view list. And than the second you deselect it, it loses all the info it just created and even a second later if you decide to review the guide you have to wait for it to rebuild the whole screen guide.
It is interesting that TV guide has not bothered to add HD subchannels to their guide.
