Thanks for correcting my numbers. I must have
been half asleep when I wrote it last nite. I
get a strong signal with both both 39-1 and 40-1
but no audio or video. I'm guessing that it's
related to the ati hdtv tuner. I'm going to try
older drivers and see if they make a difference.

I got a hold of directx sdk and tried one of their directshow samples and built a graph in graphedit with it. I wasn't able to get 39-1 but I was able to tune CFTO-HD with 40-4. I tried those numbers in watchhdtv but no joy! strong signal but no audio or video. I think that it's a software problem/glitch somewhere. I'm beginning to think that it's a windows issue but I could be wrong!Does anyone have any ideas or knowledge of how this works when it's tuning?
