That first half is correct. I don't quite get the second half, so let me pretend I understand it and expand on it.
I think avslave means that you can't take the signal coming from the satellite DISH and split it (correct), but the satellite RECEIVER's output can go to more than one TV. If you are using the audio and video output jacks to go to the TV near the satellite receiver, you can also run a cable (yes, run a cable) from the satellite receiver's Channel 3/4 output to a TV in another room, and then in that room you can watch whatever is on the satellite receiver. I do this for a bedroom TV, with one added thing, a Xantech Xtra Link, a little kit that allows me to use the satellite remote in the bedroom and control the satellite receiver in the living room. Since I am generally, as far as I am aware, only in one of those rooms at a time, there is no conflict.
To have a second satellite receiver that can tune its own channels, you will need another cable coming in from the dish, going to that second receiver.
