I have a question regarding my new DirecTV D11 IRD. When listening to the music-only channels, the song title info can be seen by pressing the INFO key and if followed by the SELECT key, a full page appears with this information. It updates automatically when a new song begins, but if a key on the remote or front panel isn't pressed for 5 minutes, the screen goes blank and the INFO request has to be submitted again.

I want this info to stay on the screen continuously. Does anyone have a suggestion how to send a valid IR code to the IRD automatically to keep the 5 minute timer from expiring? Perhaps a remote has this capability? I even read about some products that let you generate IR codes with a laptop, but nothing is said about sending the code automatically every so often. My budget for this is about 50 bucks, so no recommendations for a $999 theatre remote, please!
