Hoping I could get help making my dish network provided "5.0 IR Remote"(mfg. by echo star technologies) operate my AKAI LCT2662N TV. The satellite installer tech couldn't do it, they don't have the codes for that particular TV, and a "power scan" which searched through all the codes programmed into the remote didn't help. I called AKAI tech support and they were quite unhelpful, telling me to go to universal remotes.com, which is a site that, contrary to what the tech told me, doesn't have 'contsantly updated codes" at all!
I realize this is probably an unrealistic 'dream' but I don't want to buy another universal remote. If I'm stuck with using two remotes I'll survive.
