Well, you probably need to specify a specific problem that you're having.

I've used remotes from three different manufacturer's (one-for-all Kameleon, U.R.C., and Logitech Harmony with the Scientific Atlanta 8300, 8300HD, and 8300HD DVR boxes furnished by Adelphia; no problems.

If you identify the converter box (if any) that's connected to your display and what you can or cannot do, someone can probably help you here.
