I saw the following comment about the Dish Player-DVR 942 I liked its features but see it is not compatible with MPEG 4. Does this mean it will be useless as a receiver when Dish goes to MPEG4?
"The bad: Not compatible with forthcoming MPEG-4 satellite broadcasts; no S-Video output; interface still not as polished as TiVo's; defaults to All Episodes for guide-initiated recordings; no jumpback during scans; somewhat noisy hard drive. "
